Hello, I'm Dave, and I'm an alcoholic ... wait, wrong group... whilst mostly associated for other areas of toy collecting, to some of you I'm a sucker for anything Star Wars unproduced .
I've worked in the toy industry for over 2 decades in one form or another, from design and manufacturing to marketing and retail, and within that time have been very fortunate and grateful for the people I have met along the way, including many of you.
I started what I call collecting back in 94, when I got both X-Wing and Rebel Assault on PC for my birthday, which reignited my nostalgia, even though the time passed had "relatively" been short at that point in 94. Today I run an independent toystore in the UK and love all toys. I still get the occasional call to assist in some toy development projects, but mostly for reference and research purposes as I keep a library of a few hundred or so trade catalogues, and this is mostly thanks to the popularity of start-ups through Kickstarter initiatives.
I'm always interested in anything relating to unproduced Star Wars toys, with a penchant for Episode One (I have no idea why?).
Brandon, Don, Anthony, Mark and Matthew, are like a payphone, I just keep pumping coins to keep going :)
