Hardcopy prototype figures should have a 1:1 ratio relationship between it's wax sculpted counterpart. However when comparing to a production or first shot figure, it should be slightly larger. This is because injection molded figures are made from melted plastic pellets. As the plastic cools inside the steel mold, it has tendency to shrink. Generally higher injection pressures lead to reduced shrinkage. That being said, you can take various measurement throughout the individual pieces to determine any size differences. I have used digital calipers to take these measurements. It is important to do each piece individually and not assembled as there can other variances that can affect total lengths. Below are a couple of options that are not a bad investment for hardcopy collectors out there.
