In 1987, a new motion simulator attraction "Star Tours" was introduced to Disneyland theme park and later to other Disney theme parks.  From 2002-2005, Hasbro created exclusive carded action figures to commemorate the ride.  The figures are based on the droids found throughout the attraction.
