In 1997, Hasbro released a series of action figure playsets called "Gunner Stations". Each set would include a figure and part are a ship. The first wave included Luke Skywalker with Millennium Falcon, Han Solo with Millennium Falcon and Darth Vader with Tie Figher cockpit.

Hasbro had come up with other conceptual designs for a possible second wave, but were never approved for production. This one showcases a X-Wing Fighter Gunner Station rumored to include an exclusive Wedge Antilles action figure, which ultimately was included in the Millennium Falcon Carry Case.

This hand-made conceptual piece was developed out of the Hasbro Model Shop.
